Hi I’m Ryan Stannard
Building has been in my blood from the beginning. My dad was a builder, and I grew up on construction sites learning the trade from the ground up. By 15 I was already working as an apprentice carpenter, and I’ve now been in the building industry for more than 25 years.
In my mid-twenties, a health scare forced me to step away from the tools and rethink my future. Instead of leaving the industry I loved, I shifted into leadership—building Stannard Family Homes into the custom home company it is today.
What drives me now is simple: seeing the pride on a client’s face when they walk into a home that was designed around their land, their lifestyle, and their family. That’s why we put so much care into every project, and why I make sure our process is transparent, personal, and stress-free.
There’s nothing more rewarding than handing over the keys to a home that feels like it always belonged to the people living in it.

Meet Our Team Of Inspired Industry Experts
Office Based Team
As the company owner, Ryan works on the business to ensure the ease of workflow and profitability of the company. Ryan has a young family and has worked in the industry for over 25 years. He started Stannard Family Homes to deliver high-quality custom family homes with exceptional customer service at affordable prices to families of Adelaide.
Michael Silvy brings an architectural background and over 20 years of project management experience across council and construction. His leadership style combines technical expertise with a practical, solution-focused approach, ensuring projects run smoothly, efficiently, and to the highest standard. Michael’s deep industry knowledge and commitment to quality make him an invaluable part of the Stannard Family Homes team.
Eryn Stannard graduated from Immanuel college and chose to move into the family business for a career. She spent much time around construction sites and walking through finished homes as a child. Eryn enjoys getting to know the clients and their family’s needs during the selection process. She loves watching the colour combinations and clients’ ideas come to life. On the weekends, Eryn enjoys spending time with family, dining out, sampling the bars of Adelaide, and exploring the botanical gardens.
Harry's interest in building was sparked through countless conversations with Ryan (Director); within a few years this turned into him joining Stannard Family Homes where he plans on putting his Business Degree in Small Business & Management to good use.
In his spare time Harry enjoys playing golf, travelling & camping, exploring all Adelaide has to offer, and spending time with friends.
Mick was born in London in the UK and emigrated to Australia approximately 30 years ago. He has worked in the building industry since he was 15 and has had almost every job you can have in a building company. He also ran his own business undertaking small renovations for about two years with his brother, so his experiences have really given him a broad skill set that suits his current role.
Mick is passionate about the Australian dream of owning your own home and enjoys working closely with our customers through the design, costing and approval stages to help them create their dream ‘forever’ home. He’s happily married with one beautiful daughter and a misbehaving dog. In his spare time, he watches American football, loves going out with family and friends and is a huge fan of country music.
Jade began with Stannard Family Homes as an Accounts Assistant, where she quickly built a strong foundation in administration and client support. With her attention to detail and passion for customer care, she transitioned into the Warranty Phase of the business, where she now plays a key role in ensuring a smooth and positive experience for clients after handover.
Coming from a family of trades, Jade has a natural understanding of the building industry and the importance of quality workmanship. She brings this insight into her role every day, supporting clients with professionalism and care.
Outside of work, Jade enjoys spending time up the river with her family and friends, making memories and embracing the outdoors.
Litsa holds a degree in Visual Communication and brings over 10 years of experience across marketing, IT, HR, and administration. She joined Stannard Family Homes just under a year ago and has quickly become an integral part of the team.
Outside of work, Litsa is a proud mum to two energetic boys, which means plenty of weekends filled with sport. She also loves traveling, cooking, watching movies, and spending quality time with friends and her little family.

Terry Stannard has been working in the building industry for over 20 years. He started his career as a carpenter with his father, has worked as a carpenter/general builder for most of his career and has become a highly respected member of the industry.
His many years spent on site have given Terry extensive knowledge and skills of all aspects of the building industry and a keen eye for detail. He takes great pride in his work and enjoys working closely with each client to ensure even the smallest of details is perfect.
