“Building has been in my blood from the beginning. My dad was a builder, and I grew up on construction sites and was already working as an apprentice carpenter by 15. I’ve been in this industry for more than 25 years.
In my mid-twenties a health scare forced me to step back from the tools and rethink my future. Instead of leaving the industry I loved, I shifted into leadership, building Stannard Family Homes into the custom home company it is today.
What drives me now is simple: seeing the pride on a client’s face when they walk into a home that was designed around their land, their lifestyle and their family. That’s why we put so much care into every project.”

STEP 01
Feasibility & Initial Consultation
We start by looking at your land, your goals and your budget. We review your block and any site constraints, understand your priorities and lifestyle, and provide honest early guidance on what’s achievable.
This isn’t a sales meeting. It’s a conversation.
STEP 02
Design Together
Once the fundamentals are clear, we move into concept design. We translate your ideas into a tailored design that reflects your lifestyle while keeping your budget firmly in mind.
Key decisions are made early to avoid costly changes later.
STEP 04
Pre Construction
All detailed planning and documentation happens before a slab is poured.
This includes engineering and site requirements, council approvals, finalising selections and specifications, and preparing a clear construction schedule.
No surprises once the build is underway.
STEP 05
Construction
You’ll have access to the Buildertrend client portal with fortnightly photo updates and progress milestones throughout the build.
A dedicated project coordinator is your direct contact and experienced supervisors oversee every stage on site.
STEP 05
Handover
Before handover, we complete a detailed quality inspection and walk through every room, every finish and every detail with you.
We also follow up after handover to ensure everything is performing exactly as expected.
