Not once did we encounter any hidden costs and they build time was exceptional, having the house completed in 14 weeks saved us a fortune on interest and other expenses. They have a very well organised group of tradesman meaning nearly everyday someone was working on our home. My Dream Home

I love everything about my house built by Stannard Family Homes. The whole process was exciting, watching it get built. Wayne helped me design my home to fit on my block and it's perfect. We managed to get everything I wanted in it. The build is amazing, and the detail and workmanship is impeccable. We asked Stannard Family Homes to build a home that my wife and I designed. Our design included many custom features which was always going to be tricky to convey and execute. The team from Stannard Family Homes worked extremely hard to ensure our home looked and felt the way we envisioned it. It just so happened that we had 2 groups of friends building at the same time. We found ourselves sharing stories about our building experience during the construction. I'm very confident we chose the right builder as we have definitely had a more pleasant experience then our friends. One of the main differences being that Stannard Family Homes are willing to listen and work with their clients. We had the supervisor's number and he was willing to help us achieve our dream. We selected Stannard Family Homes as our builder for our first development project with our own new business. We had been through many other display homes and had meetings and quotes from a number of volume builders, but we felt that Stannard Family Homes had a great model and would be able to meet our needs and at a fixed price cost so there were no hidden extras in relation to the actual build (there were a few extras in relation to some retaining walls that were unexpected, but that was unforeseen at the time of entering the contract). We loved being able to work so closely with our New Home Specialist to get our designs just right and also the speed at which he was able to make changes, particularly when knocked back by the council for the first round. He was able to make the required changes, whilst keeping the concept of the house and the team were able to get them right back in for the next panel meeting. I do not believe we would have had this high level of attention if we were with a volume builder. We ended up with three stunning two-story homes and any problems that arose during the build were always promptly addressed and Ryan's dedication to providing the best product he can, meant that we had a beautiful end product. We would highly recommend building with Stannard Family Homes and we are in fact in the process of having them draw up plans for our own family home.

Our Dream Home

Finding a builder that was willing to build our unique design within our budget was a challenge for us but the team at Stannard Family Homes were more than accommodating to our needs. Throughout the whole process, their excellent communication and availability to discuss any queries that arose gave us confidence and assurance. They are an efficient, highly organised and approachable team who made our dream home into a reality. They delivered a quality home and met our expected build time. While daunting at first, the process of our house build went smoothly from start to finish. The perceived risk of going with a smaller builder paid off big time for us with relationship important to their team. We were included in every step of the build and this assisted us in alleviating any anxiety or stress we would have felt. We could see the exceptional scheduling firsthand and how much their trades enjoyed working for them. We witnessed firsthand the pride they had in their work, everything needed to be perfect even if it was something we probably wouldn't have even noticed. When choosing which builder my wife and I would like to build with, of course we visited all the usual suspects, and got the same sales pitch that left an empty feeling, especially knowing once you sign with them, you'll never see that salesperson again. Whilst having this discussion we received a phone call from Ryan Stannard, just checking in to see how we are going after we'd had ONE meeting with them. Safe to say that made our decision for us, and we were happy every step of the way. The whole team there became friends of ours, and we felt everyone was helpful and approachable, and sought to solve all of our issues.

Custom builder: Yes, you'll never see another house like ours anywhere, but we have a house even better that what we had dreamed because their design team is so good the improved our dream home to be even dreamier.

Flexible: Yes, they met with us and discussed options right through the process and were always forthcoming with ideas and suggestions in case things needed to be adjusted.

On time: Our build started during Covid, so many people would already expect massive blowouts and delays. Nope, ours finished on time, actually a little early. When we see a large volume builder across the road who started a couple of months after ours are still going, and we've been enjoying our house for over a year.

After handover: Great. Stannard Family Homes say that they stand by their product, and they mean it. They only bite off what they can chew, so that they can provide the service that they offer. We've always found the team there to be helpful, even after having moved in, even despite a record low number of minor fixes, many of which barely even rate a mention.

Horror stories: We've heard them all, but the only one we can imagine from Stannard Family Homes, would have been if we chose anyone else.

I feel like I've blabbed on enough, if you've read this far, I think you've got the vibe I'm putting down here. It might seem too good to be true, but they are worth it and will be a great decision if you make the same choice we did.

Advice: Ask questions, lean on them for advice, they know what they're doing, and they'll have your best interests at heart. Enjoy the process, because you can, there's no need for stress with Stannard Family Homes.
